Blog #14 - Animation
Artist Statement
This week I learned how to create a frame-by-frame animation in Adobe Photoshop. This process started with drawing out my storyboard and deciding where I wanted my story to go. After relaxing on the beach for spring break, I was inspired by the wildlife and knew I wanted to have an animation about crabs. From there I experimented with my frames and layers, rearranged some elements of my story, and made my idea come to life. During this process I was able to combine many different elements such as images, text, shapes, shadows, and even include my personal logo into my animation. Many frames, layers, and editing later I have created my first animation! Finally getting to my final product was so fulfilling to see and I am happy to share, "Beachside Gems of Love", to my blog!
