This tutorial showed me more about color adjustments in Photoshop. Through the adjustments menu there are many options available that make changing background colors very easy. The tutorial also briefly showed the difference between a raster image and a smart object layer. The lasso tool was shown as well to demonstrate how to change coloring of a specific part of a layer, which I believe will be very helpful. One part I think will be challenging will be navigating through raster images and the pixels when doing color adjustments because once changed and saved that will be the final outcome.

This tutorial taught me about what layer masks are and how to use them in Photoshop. By using this tool in photoshop it allows for your project to look more professional and adds a better flow to your images. I definitely see layer masks being extremely helpful since they are nondestructive. Watching this tutorial I also learned more about selection and shortcuts to using this tool if I need something done faster. I like how flexible the layer masks are, but one part I think will be challenging with layer masks is playing close attention to detail and ensuring I am hiding or showing all of the parts of the image I want.

This tutorial showed me the world of filters in Photoshop. I never realized how many ways you could alter images so filters will definitely be useful in adding higher detail and creativity to my future projects. I learned more about blurs, quick dodge, camera raw filter, and other filters. I also learned about complex filters which is newer to Photoshop and powered by Artificial Intelligence, so I am very eager to put that filter to the test. One part I think will be challenging with filters is learning how the blend modes work with filters. Since there are several different blend mode options, I would want to make sure I am choosing the best one for my images.
